H2-Reallabor Burghausen
Reverion is an industrial partner in the Burghausen H2 real-world laboratory – ChemDelta Bavaria
Reverion is leading work package 7 for the production of hydrogen at a CO₂-negative biogas plant. Together with its partners Carbon CO2ncepts GmbH and the Chair of Energy Systems at TUM, the innovative Reverion technology will be integrated into an existing biogas upgrading plant for the first time with 1.5 MW of electrolysis capacity, demonstrating grid-friendly operation of the entire process chain. Since the project began in April 2023, Reverion has scaled the existing Reverion technology to a system with 500 kW of fuel cell capacity and 1.5 MW of electrolysis capacity. The new container plant will be completed in 2025 and integrated into a biogas upgrading plant for extensive field testing. After its planned commissioning, the plant will supply hydrogen and carbon dioxide to the other partners in the joint project and to the ChemDelta Bavaria site.
