Reverion Appoints Andreas Aepli as Chief Financial Officer to Lead Next Phase of Industrial Scale-Up
Eresing, Germany – March 5, 2026 – Reverion, a manufacturer of high-efficiency, reversible power plants, today announced the appointment of Andreas Aepli as its first Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The appointment comes as the company enters its next phase of industrial scale-up and prepares for further international expansion.
Andreas brings extensive experience in scaling industrial climate technology companies and leading finance organizations through periods of rapid growth. Most recently, he served as CFO at Climeworks, where he supported the company’s global expansion and raised over $800m in equity. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Bühler Group, where he held various leadership roles, including contributing to the development of pioneering insect protein production facilities.
Throughout his career, Andreas has built and led high-performing finance teams, raised substantial growth capital, and implemented the structures and processes required to scale complex industrial businesses. His expertise spans strategic fundraising, capital efficiency, organizational development, and governance.
“Scaling a company like this takes more than capital. It takes the right people,” said Andreas Aepli. “I’m proud to be joining the 200-strong Reverion team who have already done the hardest part: making it work. Now we build the engine to bring it to the world.”
Reverion has demonstrated the performance of its high-efficiency, reversible power plants, which enable flexible and climate-positive energy generation. The company is now focused on expanding production capacity, strengthening operational structures, and accelerating deployment across international markets.
“Reverion has successfully brought the first generation of its record-breaking, reversible power plants into the field. They have been in routine commercial operation at multiple locations for over 9 months,” said Stephan Herrmann, CEO of Reverion. “Now, we are building the structures to scale production, expand into new markets, and accelerate the transition to a reliable, flexible, and robust energy system. I am convinced that Andreas is exactly the right person to help us build that foundation and navigate through this next phase of growth.”
With the appointment of its first CFO, Reverion strengthens its executive team to support continued growth, industrialization, and future financing activities.
