Over the years, we’ve developed, patented, and validated our groundbreaking high-temperature fuel cell technology. Our all-in-one reversible system efficiently converts biogas or hydrogen into electricity and switches to electrolysis mode to produce green hydrogen or methane.

At the heart of all Reverion power plants are solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), which can electrochemically convert energy stored in fuel gas into electrical energy – and vice versa. In reversible operation, they act as solid oxide electrolyzer cells (SOECs). Thanks to the patented Reverion system design, they are capable of achieving electrical efficiencies of up to 80% – well-insulated at temperatures of approximately 600-750 °C.

Our Hydrogen Solution

Building on the reversible fuel cell technology of our biogas power plant, we have developed a second product specifically designed for hydrogen applications. The result is a direct, highly efficient conversion of renewable electricity into green hydrogen and back again. With a round-trip efficiency of up to 75%.
